New Propaganda “Documentary” on FYROM’s State TV

Without comment on the content we presents the sensationally announced onset on a “documentary”, in production of FYROM’s state TV, MRT, that allegedly shows “irrationality” of Greek opposition to creation of Tito’s “Makedonija” and its independence in 1991.
Of course, the “documentary” intro doesn’t mention neither the fact that the name “Makedonija” for the former Yugoslav state is a novelty only old for several decades nor that it goes hand-in-hand with expansionist design aimed primarily against Greece, Bulgaria and, to a lesser extent, Albania and Serbia. Given that most households in FYROM have primarily access to MRT, it is likely that this propaganda effort will only straighten the negative image of Greece as the “primary enemy”, an image cultivated for more than two decades by official Skopje.
The text by the narrator reads: “Exclusively on Macedonian [sic] Television – the latest documentary movie about the roots and the historical background regarding the opposition of Greece towards the names ‘Macedonia’, ‘Macedonian nation’ and ‘Macedonian’ language”.
